Hey Guys, Been using this fourm for a few months to work on my fzr250 2ln. But I didn't need to post till now. Does anyone know what is wrong when your riding around and suddendly the red 'On' light comes on? It seems to go off at random times and then come back on again. I know it comes on when you hold the ignition button (so I always make sure I am not accidently holding it down). Also I know it comes on when the engine is off and your in gear. It doesn't seem to do anything apart from annoying me. But still I thought I might ask.
mmm I did check it and filled her up. I will check again tonight when I get home. The red light is the first one from the left and it says 'On' Under it.
opps yeah I mean 2kr! sorry! mmm that is the 'other' red light <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s --> on the bike that is on the speedo. The red light I am talking about is next to the netural light.
I think its been about 3-4 months now. And no I it wasn't doing it when I first got it. My Oil is a little low its under the indicator. I will top her up tonight and see if still does it.
Consider totally draining the oil and putting in exactly 2L of fresh stuff. If you don't know how much oil was in there to start, and you keep "topping it up" you run the risk of over-filling it and blowing a head gasket.
OMG I finally manage to find the time to muck around on the bike... I checked the gauge again and added some oil. Bike is running awesome now... thanks guys.
