freaked me out for a sec when the handle bar started to shake when I go over 140kph. it doesn't seem to do it when I was tucked down accelerating, but once I let off the gas, the handle bar will vibrate until speeds drops to around 120kph. It's not strong enough to shake my hands off the bar, but it caused the bike to shake left and right.

Now my question is, I had new tires put on recently, could the tire cause this if it's out of balance? because I did not notice this before, and I was going easy with the new tires for the last 2 weeks.

Any other suggestions as to what else can cause this?

Sounds out of balance by what you describe.

I haven't checked the valve stem yet, but on car tires, if it's not inline, wheel weights should solve the problem. either way, I am going to have the shop that put on the tires to check the balance again.

LOL, I was lucky with my shop. They balanced it again and the shimmy seem to have stopped. Now I have to deal with cross winds blowing me across the lanes due to the light weight... <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->

I love it when it's windy. Keeps things interesting.

Especially the round-a-bouts, and other low speed, sharp corners
