Feel like giving us a bit more information?
There was an L plater busted in Victoria recently doing about the same speed between Warragul & Drouin; he was on a CBR250R at WOT/top speed.

i think it is silly that the nsw government dont let L platers do the speed limit. Why not go the speed of the rest of the traffic? the bigwigs in decicion making positions are just fu&%ing stupid. give me one good reason why an L plater should do 30 kmh slower than everyone else.

I didn't know L/P platers are aloud to do the limit in other states?

in victoria, you do the speed limit. not 20 or 30 slower.

    Learner Apporved Motorcycle Scheme.

Learner riders from the ACT have to travel under 80 when they cross the border into NSW but not in the ACT. I see no reasoning at all behind that particular law.

In the US 184kph = 114 mph and is a "go to jail offense" regardless of lic.

Its the same here in New Zealand....

.... surely there is no worse thing for the saftey of young bikers than to have angry drivers backing up behind you trying to push past, or to have two trailer trucks trying to inch take you at 90km/h...

I guess 'speed kills' or whatever, but Im not planning on sticking to 80km/h when touring, oh no.

Anything over 99 mph is considered a FELONY and you'd probably get a $1000 fine, possible 30 days in the clink, and a lic suspension of at least 3 months. Would be listed on your lic. as "Wreckless Driving" 6 points out of 15. Or it was the last time I got one (77 in a 35).

Yeah, you can get charged with wreckless driving for similar offences here in australia.

Not sure what the consequences are tho
