newbie 2 group/fzr2kr front fork upgrade

    Hi can any one help me with my bike iwould like to put naked bike styleing on this bike and the stock items are ill equiped, ie no bar mounts on tripple clamps.is there a replecement item i can use.next question,could i fit an r6 tail convertion to this mod.

    You'll be wanting the Yamaha Zeal top triple clamp to put some high rise handlebars on your FZR. Yeah, you could fit any sorta tail you wanted but it's not really a quick and easy job - there's a bit of bodging and fabricating to get any tail conversion to fit properly.

    You could also drill the triple i believe.

    Thanks,I was thinking about drilling but wanted to source alt method before it came to that,I would also have to hunt for bar mounts with the drilling option.

    its not a verry risky mod
    all you have to do is buy your clamps and bars
    found here http://www.austreetfighter.com.au/
    take it all to and engineering company and they will drill the holes for you right the first time arround.

    hey i did exactly what youre talking about to my bike... except i used an r1 tail... if you have any questions, pm me...

    btw, its a great mod but if its aesthetics yourre after, the rear tyre kinda looks really narrow after the conversion....it does look a little odd... so make sure its really what you want to do first
