LOL. time to lean into lots of corners now.
meanwhile, isnt it a just some water based spray paint thats meant for tyres?
curious: y is it such bad news?

That stuff is as slippery as riding on an oil slicked tyre! When FZRDude said a burnout is the only way to get it off he's not far off; although then it's kinda tricky to get the side of the tire unless you do a walk-around burnout. <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
Aside from that, a fair bit of thinners will get rid of the majority of it, but aside from that it's going to be worse than riding on a new tyre.

When you want a good looking tyre try using black shoe polish rather than the brush on tyre paint crap. It looks a whole lot more natural too.

PS: In this modern era of sneakers, I guess that a lot of members here would not know what shoe polish is.

thanks for that, and yeah, the burnout worked, i did it right after i did it- and it cleared up the rear tire, but the front took a heap of effort.

i went for a ride to daylesford the other day, and i can just feel the back tire slippin when i get right down into a corner, so i dont know that i wanna risk lots of that, unless i loose it....

i have tried metho and sandpaper, but that didnt even work...

    will terps do any differant???

Be gentle with it and it'll scrub off with normal use. Take it to a parking lot and do a bunch of lowspeed swervies, circles, and fig 8's.
