Clean wheels

    When I did the frame, I just cleaned it up really good (removed any grease and/or grime) removed all bearings and they did the rest.

    I budgeting $300 but it'll probablly be half that.

    hey can any1 tell me if i can get cleaning products (soap, kero, etc.) on those rubber things behind my sproket on my rear wheel? and what about the bearing things?

    also can i use petrol in the place of kero what are some of the advantages/disadvantages of petrol?

    By petrol, I assume you mean gasoline in other parts of the world.

    I would suggest that you stay away from gasoline application other than fuel. Gasoline is safe as long as you keep it in some sort of a tank. There's many solvents sold specifically to clean parts. Gasoline is not a better parts cleaner, it's definitely less safe due to its nature.

    oh yeah gasoline. when you say due to its nature do you mean because it is a little explosive etc.? but wouldnt it do the same job as kero?
