I laughed my butt off! Unfortunately he represents about 90% of US riders. With another 5 percent being idiot juvenile stunt junkies who ride wheelies down the e-way while standing on one peg at 80 mph. There are very few people over here that aren't posers!!

Granted we have our fair share here in the US, but I think 90% is a rather high # unless it is directed at the "Cruiser" group....60% in the "Sportbike" group (and they wear shorts, flip-flops, and wife-beaters)

75% of all the riders I know are the real deal, all riding a min. of prob 10 yrs each. (hardly any of them, myself included rarely wash the bike)

FZR Dude, I used to live in southern Cal, and I would have to agree with you that in that state, most are the real deal..... But get out into the midwest, where I live now, and everyone is a wannabe outlaw biker. There is a reason that Harleys outsell all others combined by a wide margin on this side of the pond.

Harleys are about twice the price of a decent jap sports bike here - how does it compare over in the good ole USA ??? I suspect there might be a bit less of a margin...

actually its about the same over here. But with that price you get to ride in all the HOG parades!
