Hey anyone out there interested in a couple of FZR250RR 3LN Race Bikes..

I have 2, One has a complete set of Race Glass and the other is complete missing the Fairings..

These bikes are great fun to throw around your local track and go really good, I've even got footage somewhere of me on one going around the outside of a R1 at a Hairpin at my local track..

It blew me away straight after.

Anyways both these bikes have been on the track and have had mods done to set them up for track work. Including removal of the ignition and replacing the overflow where the headlight normally is.

These bikes are unlicensed so can not be used on the road and come with a few spares like spare disc's and peg's plus have some of the old road gear with them like pillion pegs and indicators and some other bit's.

I'm in Perth W.A so prefer pickup but if you want to ship them you can and i'll even source creates and try to help..

Looking at around the 6 grand for both mark ono ..
    But most Resalable offers considered

    poor chopped up fizzer.

Out of curiosity, why move the overflow to where the headlight is?

What exactly does "removal of ignition" entail?

    Means two things..

One you can check the water easier as it is hard to remove the tail as it is all one piece not 3 pieces like the standard fairing also adds bit of extra weight over the front wheel which is good for the center of gravity.

Removing the Ignition means two thing also.. one when you high side and smash your head into the tank you don't snap the key.. which i've done to my R6 race bike.. Also means that if you loose or forget your key it's no matter as you don't need it to start the bike.. just flick the switch and press the button. which is also after market as you don't need all those controls because no head light's and no horn..

ahh, I see. I thought you meant you removed the entire ignition system (ie battery, starter motor, etc). But that makes more sense.

Do you have the VIN and Engine numbers for the bikes?

I had the one without fairings done that way for a few trackdays but decided it didn't do much.

Most top end race bikes run a Total loss system with no charging system and stuff you have to push start it and it runs off the battery for the race then you charge between races.

it worked ok but decided to build both bike the same so if i had problems i could swap parts, Thats why i went away from the old Front break master that is Square and went to a remote type same as the 1st bike..

Also forgot to add, Bikes run a 520 conversion and come with standard chain and sprockets with a few sizes.

One bike all stuff like sprockets and leavers Black other on Sliver.. both have gold chains..

    Vin Number's
    Yellow Bike 1990 FZR250RR 6F9IMPORTUHHD8006

    No Fairings 1991 FZR250RR 6MBYAMAHKM25WB077

I can't get to the engine numbers but i believe one is a 3ln engine and the other is a 1hx as one oil filter is a spin on type and the other is in the sump.

Both engines were rebuilt from the ground up by me including gearbox's and run great.

    BUMP and Price Drop

New Price $3500 for both ONO, Time to move them out so i can start a new project.

I got the Race Glass From Aussie Farrings but the guy is no longer making them.

They were just under a grand when bought and have never been dropped, The lucky buyer could make a mould off them for under $300 i guess and sell them as Race Kits, Noone else seems to be doing it now.

Anyways Someone much want these two great bikes.

if you were not in WA that would be ridiculously tempting, $3500 for two working bikes is a good deal, where else have you advertised?? As im very surprised that their not sold.

only on here. as not much call for 250is in perth.

transport form perth to other states is cheaper than to perth as the trucks are going back empty.

i'll knock it down to $3000 so it ends up being around 43500 with postage..
