I was think the same thing Casso.

Tell you what I think.... I bet he took the chain off first before loosening the front nut.

You have to use the chain as well as the trans/rear brake/rear wheel to get the front sprocket nut off. There has to be a chain on the bike for this to work.

Well.... that's what I get for thinking.

    To get the nut off....

    1. run a 2x4 through the rear wheel above the swing arm and put the bike in neutral. Have at the nut

    OR

    2. put the bike in gear, stand on the right side with one foot on the rear brake and lean over the bike and have at the nut.

The sprocket should not move on the output shaft in any direction once installed properly. The Output shaft "may" move a little (in/right & out/left)

hmm, so you put it on in the first place? I assume that means you'd know if there was a copper washer put on first and bent to lock the nut in place...

You need to be more specific. Are you trying to turn the nut, but it's not turning? Or are you trying to turn it but the whole assembly's turning?

yes that bent washer is on there i remeber that...

yeah the whole assembly's moving i think the 2x4 is the way to go but i still dont know why it would be this loose in the first place
