Just wondering how fast people have had there fizzer's. How fast are these things capable of going until they run out of puff. there speed limited to 180kms bloody japenese are pussy but i had mine at 160 easy. not sure on wat revs to busy watching wats going on i know mine will do 140 in third on about 12000rpm.. so pretty impressed for a little 250
'91 FZR250 : ~185km/h indicated (172km/h by GPS) '94 VFR750 : ~260km/h indicated (guesstimate @ 230km/h real) '92 FZR1000 : ~290km/h indicated (265km/h by GPS) '06 GSXR750 : 265km/h indicated (guesstimate @~240km/h real) '04 ZX6R : 255km/h indicated (NFI real speed... guessing ~220) '02 GSXR1000 : beyond 299km/h indicated (292km/h by GPS) All those were done on closed roads and in a safe environment. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s --> Fastest speed i saw on Phillip Island was ~260km/h indicated along the main straight which was probably ~235-240km/h real. I'd usually chicken out and back off the throttle early as i was approaching turn 1.
