A "Poser" is someone that sits around the Coffee Shops talking about how goos a rider he is with all his new top-o-the-line-gear that hasn't seen speeds above posted limits. Look at his tires and see "chicken strips" (untouched tread part of the tire going from the center out to the side) the size of, well......... a chicken. Basically a wannabe that actually owns a bike.
sweet then my tyres are as bald as a babys bum so i guess thats not me and the old flanno is me riding gear.
yeah i have got one but its like the full race leather so half the time i couldn't be bothered to put it on just to go down for smokes or something but anyway further than the sevro or shops it goes on
Do you use the term "figjam" as well in your neck of the woods? In case you don't it's an acronym for f*ck I'm good, just ask me. You can also use the rhyming slang "one in the bank" which rhymes with wank as in "oh that guy, he has one in the bank" - ie a ****** CLosely related to these is the phrase 'too cool for school', or those people who consider themselves way above talking to you.

Hey Guy, The "poser" tag under your name will change to something else when you get some more posts under your belt. It isn't meant as an offence and I take none in this thread. In the real biking communities, such as this forum, it can be meant as an insult, but 95% of the time it is used in fun and ribbing your fellow bikers (Could also mean Newbie). There are also SQUID's. Years ago..('84 maybe?)...I was riding home from getting my hair cut, which was only a mile from my house. Needless to say, came around a corner, gout pushed out wide by a cage going the other way in my lane....... off the roaad and boom boken leg. Jacket, helmet, gloves and boots saved the rest of me. They pretty much cut all of my gear off of me. So yeah...... all the gear, all the time. Nope never heard that one.... funny as sh*t it is. I'll have to use that one.
yeah yeah yeah well at the moment its not important the piece of junk wont even go so yeah not really concered so enough of the saftey instructions im not and idiot i have broken my leg on a bike to so i know wat its all about the doctor said if i had boots on i would have had no leg so thats my story anyway cheeers..
