Hey Gang my 90" 3ln1 is runnin rich. Wet spark plugs ,hard starting cold and bike chokes when taking off and occasional when reved at idle. once ya riding going through the gears it dosnt miss a beat . Ive taken my bike too a shop last week too fix it coz it dosnt stat on the choke once it starts lots of white smoke and fuel smell. How hard is it too adjust the mixture im a mechanic and would love too do all my own work on the bike !!!

I will say that it is probably the float needles are passing and need cleaned and re-seated, or replaced, then the float heights re-adjusted to suit.

Unfortunately the carbs need to come out to do the job properly.

Only if you take it to a mechanic.. There is nothing hard in the job, it just takes a bit of time.

It is the sort of job that you can do yourself without too much trouble particularly once the carbs are out.

Unfortunately Tas is not well represented in the FZR department, I think just a couple. There is "Indy" in Launceston, but I have not seen him on for a while.
