can some post a pic of there rectifier

just wondering if someone can post a picture of there rectifier coz i have been told several different descriptions there is a little black box right behind my exup thingy just wondering if this is it as my mechanic seems to think i dont have one just need a pic of one so i know wat i am looking for and as i have the 400 manual will it be in the same spot?

if i remember correctly when mine was taken out and a new one put in it did not look like a small black box. the original was probably about 5cm long and 3cm wide. looked like a heatsink on a computer cpu or similar.. then i had a bigger one put in

again, this was about 6 to 8 months ago so not too sure

 

well that helps heaps jezz there is probably heaps of things like that. i aint no nerd so how knows wats inside a computer not bloody me.
