    From observing people don't seem to see me!!! <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> (by people I mean pedestrians and cars of course)

    Today I found out that going through a set of lights can be very scary!

    Three pedestrians decided that i wasn't there and so proceded to cross the road while the pedestrian light was red!!! ....not a good way to test your braking skills!!! <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> <!-- s:mad: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt=":mad:" title="Mad" /><!-- s:mad: -->

    Anyway it got me thinking is it because I ride a small bike? a black bike?
    do I bled in ( in my bright red/silver/black jacket and my multi coloured weird looking helmet) did I somehow give them a signal to cross? ........

    The thing is I did manage to look one of these @$#%@^#%@^ in the eye..........or did I imagine that hmmm.

    Thoughts anyone? <!-- s:???: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":???:" title="Confused" /><!-- s:???: -->

    You "are" invisible while you are on the bike and you need to get your brain to realize that. Learn to beleive that "NO ONE WILL see you". You'll live longer.

    I do ride aware of what's going on around me, I do buffer, slow down and move away like "Wayne Gardner" suggests <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> (in a training video! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) --> )
    I take ownership of my safety.

    My point was more the mindset of the said pedestrians who unlike cars don't have blind spots!!! they were looking at my general direction.

    Bugger if I know what they were thinking! and bugger if they knew what they were thinking <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> cheers

    Anyway I drove my car to work today different story!!! <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

    Just read today that pedestrians do see you and registers in their brains, the only thing is they don't perceive you as a threat!!! <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: -->
