hey guys, nice website just joined up. i have a 3ln3 and am having trouble with my blinkers... i read some other posts about globe wattages etc... but not what i'm after. the blinkers turn on as normal with the switch, but do not flash. globes have been changed, and the relay in the back left fairing has been checked / changed. without success. blinkers worked ok when i got the bike, ie one side flashed faster than the other, but soon neither flashed. have downloaded the fzr400 manual, which is good. some other posts mention a flasher unit?? can anyone tell me where it is located on a 3ln3?, is it the box next to the relay in the rear left fairing?.. cheers g
I had a similar problem when i first got my 3ln. I had no manual, so i used the multimeter to trace from the switch backwords and found the relay (around the same place you described) luckily fot me this fixed the problem. I sugest grab a multimeter and check everything from the switch back, sounds like a faulty relay or somwhere the wires are connected up wrong so the relay isnt working as it should. Shaun
