Went for a ride today with a couple of guys from my home town Muswellbrook (hunter valley NSW). I,ve had this bike for over a year now and hold a unrestricted licence but love my fizzer. The other guys were on Aprilia 1000 05 &06 models. We rode from muswellbrook to wisemans ferry great country roads plenty of curves then we took the Putty road a great challenging road, about a 500km round trip. I try to go for a ride every weekend but this was a whole new experience i was riding the corners like I've never riden before, for the first time I used the rubber on my tyres from wall to wall the other guys were taking it a little bit easy but were impressed with my little fizzer they clocked it at 182 kph and were blown away by the sound of it reving at 15500rpm in 6th gear. I had a f#*$@%g awesome day and just wanted to share this experience with you guys
I so wish I had been with you!!!! Me just at Cooranbong, near Newy. I plan to do a run up putty one of these days, and really test the Fizzer out.
the only time I've ever been that fast or faster was when I flew to QLD in a jet Glad you had a good time and showed those bigger bikes a view of the tail-light.. One of my neighbors had a freind visit on an Aprilla 1000 - it must have had near straight thru exhaust as it sounded like a very lumpy V8 when it started up.. Those V twins have a damn nice sound too. And they don't sound like a harley either.. Here is a video of me taken off my sons SV1000 having a quiet country ride ( it's not real good quality but watchable) http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c110/ ... ave222.flv
