Hi all,

I am wanting to replace my air filter, unfortunately yamaha are charging about $100 for one (6 in Australia). This is out of my budget and I am wondering if anyone has made one of these. I am guessing you go and buy a flat bit of PVC and a car air filter and apply sizzors and glue. If you have done this tell us what you used and more specifically what type of air filter you used and where you got it from and price of course. Thanks all.

    Hey natas,

you can order air filters from www.uniflow.com.au. I don't know what your budget is but for an FZR 250 88-90 model = $57 plus 6 bucks for shipping. For and FZR 91+ model it $63 + $6 shipping.

Hope that helps.. probably still out of your budget huh???
