Hi guys, I am strippng down my 250 for overhaul. I am trying to remove the last of the wiring loom to allow me to work on the engine. There is a wire that goes to the underside of the sump. Does anyone know what this is connected to? I looked up the parts list for the 400 and a similar part on that bike is labelled as 'Relief valve assembly'. <!-- s:???: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":???:" title="Confused" /><!-- s:???: -->

    Hi Okee,
Just guessing but it could be your neutral light wire from the gearbox area. Its a new one but I think the wires go to the CDI.

    WIRING

The wire to the sump underside is connected to the oil level sensor unit.
