Hi guys, just wanted to ask a question, I've just noticed over the last few weeks a bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust when I start my FZR250 2kr.When it warms up the smoke stops???
Does anyone know what is causing this? Gave an oil n filter change 2days ago and it still does it. Yamalube 10/30 semisyntheyic is what I've been told to use. Could it have anything to do with it being so cold at the moment? Its definatly smoke not steam. Cheers!

Cold engines will run lean as there is more air being mixed into the combustion. (cold air is denser)
This is why the bikes have a choke, it changes the air fuel mix to run more rich in cold weather.

Nothing to worry about, though you might find there is less power output when there is smoke being produced as lean mixures produce less power.
