I'm assuming her bikes newer then yours...that may play a part, also it could be she has more experience with getting away off the line. These are just very vague suggestions as I know incredibly little about things...hope it helped a lil.

The balius has sacrificed top end speed for low down grunt and thats why its easier to take off harder, all you have to do is rev it more (like 9000 +) on take off, dont worry about flipin it i really doubt most people here would have the skill to flip a fzr250.

Also i doubt she'll be able to keep up at top speeds, if your really wanting better low down take off speed, re-gearing is the answer.

Just use the clutch as a speed guider

its'a 250 - ithink you would be hard pushed to make a bike like this flip. you woudl have to drop the clutch hard and really pull to get something. mind you i havn't tried yet (i've only been riding for a short time still) but it doesn't seem easy on 250s.

as for the speed thing - try holding the revs longer and jsut going hard at it, once you get used to the clutch and shifting you shoudl be good. i don't like giving away speed secrets (yes i like to have an edge if i can) but look up what a dog box does (on cars) and how they are used by the friver - a motorbike works in teh same way after first so that may save youa few secons in shifting.

and i dont' want to hear that it will wreck my engin from you gurus of riding and whatnot - it's abotu going fast here, yes there may be more engin damage in teh long run but a bike was built with this shifting in mind, and it's for the sake of going fast so i expect to break stuff for the sake of winning.

If your talking about clutchless up shifting, it won't damage your gearbox, or anything (if done right), and yes will save you time and thus gain an advantage.

    NOTE:

Don't clutchless down shift, damage will be caused.
