Proud new owner..

I've finally made the jump into bikes and purchased a FZR250, and I'm in love. From being very nervous getting on it, to 2 hours later, just not wanting to get off it!

Seen quite a few aussies on here so I thought it would be a great place chat. One question I will ask is how I can find out the manufacture date of the bike. Rego plate said its 96, so I'm guessing thats the compliance date. Its got one front disc and 2 headlights, one taillight, exup on the exhaust. Or is there a stamp somewhere I can find that will tell me?
