exhaust upgrade

    just got my bike 2 days ago and am keen un doing some modificatios...i like the thing about EXUP, but i would like to put after market muffler on it ...how should i do it cut off muffler part and put on the slip ons???? and what make of excellent after market i should buy?

    That would probably be your only option. There are lots of different mufflers but try to get one that best matches your pipe work size. Weight is an important consideration too, try getting one that is light..

    "thanks dave for the quick reply... ok got your drift, should the cutting be in on welding of the EXUP and the muffler? and with would you recomend..please feel free to suggest make and model...,are the carbon designed any good

    Carbon fibre are good. My SV has one, but it is Australian made, I doubt they would be available in Dubai. <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( --> My FZR had a Remus muffler but it was fitted to the bike when I bought it.. I no longer have a FZR to get measurements from, so you wil have to measure up yours and see what diameter pipe you have, etc.

    im pretty sure its a 50mm pipe...
    but i cant remember. was a while ago that i did mine.

    The muffler was on the bike when I bought it..
