    I am busy converting a 2kr into a race bike for my son and wondered if anyone has a wiring diagram for race wiring?

    Cheers

    "If it ends in a light or horn, unplug it. If it ends at the sidestand switch, jumper it."

    Sound about right? <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    Gordon - are you fabbing a new loom? Why not just use the existing harness, and tape off the parts not needed?

    Bit of a necro-post here... Probably too late for the OP, but it might help the next person to come along.

    I found this on the Exup Worldwide site. It's *pure* race - push-start, total-loss and no key switch. Adding (keeping) the starter motor would be very simple, as its wiring is direct from the battery; just wire the start-button and solenoid after the main switch. Note that there are no lights, horn, sidestand switch, clutch switch, or safety interlocks. The Neutral switch is still there, but just as a convenient indicator.
