Aargh. Just get to work, bike parked out front, 2 minutes later I hear this big crunch - crash.
Run down to find the boss's girlfriend has just backed into my bike and knocked it over. On the way down it bounces into the boss's car, breaking my windscreen and the faring it's attached to, and denting his car.

    Nice one.

Hey man your actually pretty lucky if you think about it. You could've had some random hit and run and you paying fees.
Damage seems little after crashing into two cars. If you can, make sure to have your boss pay (Obviously) but try and avoid going through insurance company this way there should be no excess and no increase of rating.

    Good luck to you.

Yeh totally. I've already sourced and fitted a replacement from a local wrecker, and payment has been sorted. Actually a pretty good crash story, as far as they go!
Still no fun to hear your bike hitting the ground, and wondering what kind of state it's going to be in when you get out there.

Took the oppurtunity to replace my blown instrument panel globes too!

Trust me I feel your pain, m8. Check my previous post, I guess at least u have someone to pay for your damage. Kinda makes u wanna park'em illegally on the footpath or grass verge or sumthin....dont it.

in VIC its not illegal to park them on the footpath, so long as its not obstructing pedestrian thoroughfare.

I believe there are a few streets in central Melbourne that were recently made illegal to park on the footpath. One would certainly get busted here in Tasmania, at least in any of the bigger towns and cities.
