your right, I recently replaced my indicator relay, Purchased a new one from bursons parts store for $15.

The relay on my bike, was zip-tied to the real left sub frame, under the rear left side fairing. It is a grey (was on mine) cylinder that attaches with two pins. Mine would flash but sometimes just stay solid untill I flicked it at a red light.

Ps at the shop it was called a Flasher relay.

    Good luck!

hey i got a new flasher relay and it worked great for about 2 days then stopped flashing so i took it back to the shop and they swapped it for another this one worked for a day and same thing when i went to pull it off it has a hole melted in it the elements inside have heated up enough to melt the outter case now because this has pretty much happened twice does this mean theres something wrong with my bike or they were just dodgy relays that i got?
im still using my old one which still works barely (it flashes very slowly)

Check that there is not a short circuit in the wiring to the lamps, or a lamp with a damaged filament or shorted out internally.
