i was zooming along yesterday and was just thinking about how its one of the most exciting bikes iv ever ridden.
bigger bikes dont have the same edge and smaller bikes are just for kids.
the sound, how light it is and the perfect amount of power!
and my one is a bit ******, so i also love the fact that i might explode in a dramatic fireball at any second! =p

hahaha i love how its always 'interesting'. i had an sr250 before the fizzer and it was always reliable-start first go and no problems but it didnt have the 'character' that the fzr has

ive learnt so much about bikes thanks to it, before i had it i knew pretty much nothing and since im not rich it was either give it to the mechanics all the time or learn things for myself.

Also the power and lack of weight is great, people put crap on it for being a 250 but go quiet when it beats their 6 cylinder. plus no one ive spoken to has ever guessed its 20 years old. the worst ive got is ten.

All in all a great bike and although given me headaches (and more to come im sure) im glad i have it as its already grown on me so much

I love the sound it makes through the full rev range and seeing heads turn where ever I go. I'm 38 and I have had my 2kr fizzer for 4 years now I have thought about upgrading but what for, it looks great it goes great it gets my adrenaline pumping and it sticks it to the bigger bikes in the corners.Three more years and i think my fizzer is classed as a vintage. Yamaha created a great bike that has put a smile on my face many time in the past and sure to put many more there to,
GO THE MIGHTY FZR250. This website and it's moderaters have helped to make my Fizzer experiance f@%$#*g awesome.

I learnt to ride on the FZR and liked the light weight and handling, and it was a mechanical learning curve for me, although I had no major problems. The power was adequate, performance better than most cars on road, but after a while I got a bit used to it. Some times now I think my bike has not enough power, but it still can get me into trouble as quick as a flash.

Hey all, my first post...

Had the Fizz '88 2KR for about three months now and picked it up with only 8000kms on it.

I love the F1 style scream it makes, the sound makes all the newer 250's on the road sound dull (see kwaka 250r boooo)

I love the futuristic (for the 80's) styling.

I love the handling (bro has a daytona 675 and i can keep with him in the bends)

Great bike.
