    hey hey

organising a garage day southside of brisbane- drewvale for the 26th june starting from 7am.

we have run these days on another forum as an opportunity to give each other a hand with the bikes- servicing, repairs or mods. a favourite mod is always the hid lights..... We have most tools available, including a vaccuum balancer.

Anyone is welcome- come along to get a hand on your bike and give a hand on someone elses.

    pm for details.

mate, always a good showing. Had several garage days since this one, each with a minimum of 12 bikes, and near 20 people. We try to hold them each month all ovrr brisbane. Anyone who's interested pm me or reply in this thread, and i'll get bak to you. Our list of tools available grows everytime, the latest- i'm hoping in around a months time to have a machine up and running which analyses the vaccuum of your bike to assess the internal condition, including if your valves need doing, also balancing carbs and throttle bodies. Well known overseas, this is relatively new in aus and only taken up so far by a handful of mechanics. We have experience spanning in some cases 30 years, including current and ex racers, suspension guru's all on different days, and detailing to boot. A good day with breakky and lunch supplied, usually drinks after (not too manyif your riding home though) .

    Cheers

late notice, but if anyone sees this and can make it, the next day is this coming saturday, 11th sept. It is being held at a property near tamborine, on around 10 acres. Its being billed as a garage day and dirt bike run. They have dedicated dirt bike tracks including jumps and a hilll climb. Should be a top day out

I dont get a lot of time to visit this site nowadays, but watch this topic incase anyone is interested in coming along. All it costs you is a bag of chips, and some effort working on someone else's bike. The idea is to get together with likeminded people who ride together, and help each other out to keep mainttaining these machines, and keep costs for everyone down.

    Cheers

hey mate, nothing organised for the moment, heading down to dorrigo- 9 bikes over easter, then flying up to cairns for the second half of the holiday. I'll call another garage day afterwards- know of at least 3 bikes that neec carb/ throttle body balancing. I'll try to remember to get on here and post it, otherwise feel free to add me on facebook- brad priddle. Cheers!
