I want to replace the fuel pump on my 3LN. Does anybody know the specs of the standard pump or know of anyone who sells a replacement? Mines just old and screwy and i dont want it anywhere near my nicely rebuilt bike <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Hmmn, all I really know is that it's made by Mitsubishi, as is my brothers FZR 600 pump haha. Umm, I seem to recall someone telling me that fuel pumps have very low pressures, something like 2 PSI, I suppose a generic 12VOLT fuel pump with an equivalent fuel PSI rating would be ok. We'll se if anyone knows for sure. What makes you think yours is screwy?

Pump pressure spec is 1.5 P.S.I. or 10kPa for metric people.
3LN's will run ok without the pump (bypassed)

Dave's info is helpful. However, I would personally run with a pump, one reason is that you wont be able to use the last 3 or so litres of fuel in the tank, or so I'm told. When I got my spares bike, It ran with no fuel pump, but also no fuel filter...eek. perhaps the filter messes up the flow without a pump. your call but I'd use one.

Part number is 3LN-13907-00-00, I think they are about $330.

Perhaps I should have said that they will run without the pump, but not recommended. I am sure that only the 2KR models have a lower fuel tank where it is lower than the carbs.

Other members seem to get fuel pumps from other bikes or buy a generic pump from an auto parts shop.

I think that part number is superseded, it looks like the replacement is 3YX-13907-01-00
