I have had one of these fitted to my bike for the past year and its been superb. Really nice sound with out being excessively loud and its seen me through my warrant of fitness noise levels with no problems at all. Looks mean as (Thats my actual bike in the picture, although it doesn't look that nice after last Wednesday ) These things are really easy to fit yourself. Just bolt it on, took me less than ten minutes. Don't know if they ship overseas but its free shipping within New Zealand which is choice as. They also do universal racing mufflers and all sorts of other cool **** that looks awesome. www.cycleworks.co.nz
hahahahhaa. way too overpriced. theres almost nothing that a muffler can change (peformance wise) on the fizzer. you'll get a different sound.. but you do with a $100 pipe off any 600.
I just had a look at couple of online bike shops and I did not find any sports bike mufflers under $700 except for this at $426.00 http://www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au/Mot ... usts-YZFR6
ebay.... its a 50/52mm pipe i seem to remember.. most slip on cans are about a 5mm range because they usally have a sort of wire wool collar thing and just tighten with a jubalee clip. ixil ixil ixil! theyre soooo sweet.
what do you mean by any 100 dollar pipe of a 600? 600cc bike? does it sound any good? and fit right on?
What he means is because the FZR relies on its exup valve for exhaust tuning, the muffler does virtually nothing to effect performance. Because of this, if you want your bike to sound meatier all you need is a larger diameter muffler or a straight-through type muffler. Thats why he says "any $100 pipe off any 600" as the diameter and flow increase on a 600cc muffler will effectively change the way your bike sounds without the need to throw hundreds of bux at a pipe specially designed for the FZR. But no, it may not be a straight bolt on. It wouldnt be hard to fit though, with the right thinking.
