hi, im looking to buy a head and bottom gasket for the fzr 250 2kr .. original part number # 1hx-11181-00 (head gasket) and 1hx-11351-00 (base gasket if im not wrong) i live in lebanon... anyone could help please ?
i just called yamaha dealers, and they don't have pieces left for a 2kr, neither they could order me some, as they said to me, they can only procure parts for bikes made since 90's...
I am 95% sure that the 3LN1 engine is the same as the 2KR engine (if bore & stroke are the same then that makes me more sure!). 3LN headgasket is 3LN-11181-00 3LN basegasket is 3LN-11351-00 Try those part numbers. I will see if I can get a price tommorow here in the UK. Thanks for the link, unfortunetly i found a better price, this one here have the whole engine set for a couple of extra dollars http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230576399198 now if you look closely at those 2 links, im wondering why both seems to pretend it's for a fzr250 2kr, and the link i just gave you, the gasket seem to have more holes in it.....what do you think ? P.S: i can;'t have a paypal account in lebanon, i guess i'll have to pay by credit card, now how to make sure it's a safe proceedure......you know, aint the first time i orders stuff over internet, and never get them home.... my sister once sent me CK boxers lol from canada, i never received 'em...i guess they guy at the customs thought it was a nice fit for him <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s --> hehehe .....that's what sucks in this country man....
Those gaskets look pretty much identical to me. For your information the prices for the 3LN items are Head Gasket £18.12 (GBP) Base Gasket £8.70 (GBP) Both are listed as available but would have to be back ordered. That is about a third of what the Aussie is charging!!!!!! Chris
