Well finally after months of my bike sitting there i have decided to try and fix her. I purchased my bike around this time last year however i only got to enjoy riding it for about 2 months before something happened with the engine. I took it to red barron and $1300 later they told me they couldn't fix it and ultimately I would need a new engine.... I ended up reducing the amount i had to pay to 850 but its still a fair amount considering the bike rode better when i took it into the shop. However despite that i was turned off this bike altogether but considering that ive spent soo much on it i cant see myself selling it for parts or as it is and get nothing back from it. Therefore i wanted to find a reputable and honest mechanic in Sydney area that is experienced with fzr250's and will be able to diagnose the problem fully and give me a quote to actually fix it, not to try and fix it. I have read the various threads and posts on how to diagnose certain problems but i honestly don't have the time as i work and go to uni, plus as i recently moved out i dont have access to any tools which makes it very hard for me to do anything to the bike. PS. if anybody forum member that is experienced might be able to help me by looking at it, that would be great too. Thanks in advance PS. i live in Clemton park (2206)
