Hi all, Just bought my first bike with aim of getting my licence - a '95 Suzuki Across which runs fine but is cosmetically rather tired. I had a small Yamaha bike as a kid but I haven't ridden since then (about 30 years ago) so getting back in the swing of riding now. Any helpful hints or advice for a new Across owner would be appreciated. Cheers! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Welcome to the forum, Suzuki Across are a great bike and will give you a good base to getting back into riding. Perhaps a few photo's would give us some idea of what your searching for, are the panels damaged or are you talking about a fresh coat of paint. Keep us posted .
Hey Commsguy71, Welcome to the forum, the Across is quite a reliable bike, you have chosen well. Keep your oil changes up to date and it should do you well. Known issues, truth be told, there are not many, the solenoid on the fuel flap can play up and the speedo cable sometimes comes undone, apart from that, they are super reliable. How about a few pics ? there is a link up top called "The Garage" and its a good place to post up pics of your bike. Cheers K
Thanks for the welcome. Weather permitting I'll try and get some pics with the fairings still fitted and show some of the things I'm hoping to get - like stator cover (LH engine side cover), front indicator, right hand rear view mirror etc. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
