I saw an RGV250 on gumtree in Lismore on Thursday night, it was registered but NSW rego was no good to me, so I negotiated a price with the rego removed and arranged with the seller to meet Saturday morning. I set off at 6 am and arrived in Lismore at 8:30, A quick test ride around Lismore showed the bike ran quite well, what really appealed to me was its rather original and just needs a tidy up, some the panels look a bit worse for wear, but that can be easily fixed.

The only thing that really needs addressing is the front brake disks, they don't match so I will source a new set shortly.

    Kiff

That's a beauty. Always liked that color scheme. Can't say much for the spitfire sticker though

I just ordered some new front disks and sintered pads for the RGV, I have a few days off next week so hopefully I can get a plate on it as well as the ZX6

What are these like to ride? I've always wondered. I've never ridden a 2-stroke before. They don't have any engine breaking do they?
    THanks and beautiful bike!
