My god I couldnt believe it I am in the process of cleaning up one of my bikes that has quite a bit of chrome and shinny stuff on it, so I got to researching as I cant do much in the way of physicality any more, anyway I read something that could only be believed if you had seen it for your own eyes. Ready here it come..............Aluminum foil and water.....yup thats it and by god does it do a wonderful job. I must have had my head under a rock for sometime or something but had never heard of it, read it and tried it and here is a pic .......yes this time a pic striaght away lol Can anyone guess what pipe was cleaned vis the Aluminum Tin Foil?
Absolutely. I cleaned all of the chrome on a Hyosung GV700C neglected cruiser with foil and water. Looks brand new from a distance and up close you can only just see a few pits where the chrome had oxidised through.
Mate check out the vt700c cruiser in the for sale, I only used foil, water, a rag or 10 to wipe the contaminants away, another clean rag pile for the drying and extra sheen it that was pretty much it, but with saying that I have always treated it like a baby with a helicopter parent lol And yes I am aware of the shameless plug lol
