Just changed the oil and filter today with 2150 miles. Shell Rotella 5w-40 T6 with K&N oil filter. After putting in two quarts and running the engine, the oil settled closer to the bottom line. Should I fill up to the top or closer to the middle when engine is cold?

A used what type of bike ???
Fill to top level line to be sure of having enough oil in the engine so when you go up a hill the oil pump wont starve of oil and wreck the engine.

It should be at the top of where the marks specify. Make sure you measure the oil with the dip stick when the bike is upright.
