Shouldn't be the headlights. They won't come on till the engine is started. Try the r/r and see how you go
C models will only turn the light on when the electrical system has enough current being carried through it.. its a battery saving feature so you don't sacrifice power on the light during start up... A model has a switch to turn the head light off and on...
it looks like they literally just dripped solder all over the switch and it then dripped in every direction it could.
What kind of voltage should I be getting between stators? Also, I'm pretty sure I'm not getting enough voltage to charge the battery, and I get ominous voltage spikes when the throttle is closed and engine is costing back to idle, so I'm pretty sure the regulator has had it... Where can I get another one? And should I bother getting anything better, or just throw another OEM one in?
