bikes are now in sydney but the parasites want to clean them. the cbx is immaculate according to the shipper but the mongrels still want to pressure wash it and the others plus want to wash a 1947 restored buick that the shipper said you could eat off.shipper is urinated off as they are not able to be talked to. first and last time they will be used.
congrats on the new bikes,if possible any chance of doing a step by step of buying/internal transport (usa) /nec paperwork /importing etc for us non profectinals .there was a cbx 1000 in perfect cond on ebay oz 2 yr back asking 30k don't know if it sold.a young bloke in towns got 1 under the house ,his dad bought brand new was rough looking (used) but mech good when the old bloke died but now dying from neglect and dust (up nth we get dust rust bad, moisture in the air wet season soaks the dust causing chrome under it to rust) but he wont sell it (its my dads!!) what a waste ..anyway again congrats and photos would be good
Back in the bad old days, you'd be lucky to get something off the dock at all, the wharfies would have first dibs, you might end up with a rolling chassis if you were lucky. It was expected to be missing parts like badges or steering wheel or engine or the whole bloody car, it's all right only a bit of water. Have you cleaned out the shed yet or are they destined for a plot in the back yard? Don't let the animals around there see them arrive !
i am worried they will use a high pressure blaster.the 2 marusho,s are not fully assembled and a marusho tank badge just sold in the states for 175$ aus.the 750k needs a full resto but is complete but the cbx is concours and clean so the need to clean is cow manure.buy in the states, find an internal shipper like u-ship or others[google and get quotes], have a shipper to your nearest port and have delivered to their warehouse, apply for import approval[50 bucks for as many you buy]wait for import approval and get shipped out.you pay shippers fees and customs agents. many costs add up including berthing costs and fuel in harbour.finally the shipper will deliver after you pay the bills.for the 4 bikes including purchase and freight i estimate 25 grand.
