Hello all from the Eastern Slope of the Sierra in Nevada, USA. The economy kicked me off my BMWs a few years ago and put me on a '85 Honda CH150D that I picked up from a retired neighbor. Better something with two wheels than nothing and, like the old saying, "it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow"... at least some of the time. First time I went to buy some tune up bits for it I discovered by the VIN that it's the 35th Elite 150 DeLuxe ever made. So I found you whilst looking for a tiddler forum and since my aspirations are to find a two stroke in the 2fiftycc or smaller size to move up to I thought I'd join. I graduated AMI back in '74, spun wrenches at a couple of Honda shops before going off into the desert and working at a mine. Finally ended up here in Reno where I got into sales and raised a family. Reckon that says it all, I'll see if I can upload a pic of the Elite so's you all can have a laugh. Anyone in my neck of the woods have a tiddler two stroke they want to part with, feel free to get in touch.
Hi Jax and welcome. Nice part of the world where you are. I think scooters are great. Just got rid of a Honda Scoopy I used around town for a while. I'm thinking of getting myself a Lambretta next. There is a guy who runs a scooter shop in my town who specialises in bombing them with Brembo brakes and power up kits. Like my two strokes too
Have got a mixed bag in the shed. Main road bikes are a 95 Ducati 900ss and a 91 Kawasaki Zzzr-1100 Got a 93 Zxr - 250 and 96 Gsxr - 750 as track bikes. And a 89 Gsxr 750 in a state od restoration. Seem to have a thing for late 80's to mid 90's bikes!
Haven't got anything too out of control - have a Husqy 610SM atm, a Kinlon RT200 in the shed to bush bash. About to acquire a CBR250RR(R). Have owned a 2008 Husqy WR250, 89 ZZR250, a few China bikes. Looking to get a FZ6R or similar, derestrict it and also maybe chucking an R6 head on it just for something different. Or boost it. I have a TIG and a heartbeat, so who knows. *Edit And Jax, I also love the scooters, played with a Jog last year. Great fun, 10/10 would do again.
Hey everyone, im riding a Honda CBR250RR. wow what a bike, put an electronic intake motor and k&n air filter and what a difference that made.
Hi all yeah Chris from Netbikes beat me to it hey as I have a few of the different breads and they all run so abit of a multiple answer selection would be pretty cool too Hey Chris from Netbikes I dont suppose you would happen to have a 89 Kwakka H1 Pillion seat cover at all? Got the panals that I bought from you all fixed up and have almost got it all completely back to stock again But this was a long time ago and I know you deal with alot of people How did you go with the sale of beautiful H1 mate?

As far as 250's go I have just got myself a 1983 CBX250RSE, and I also have a 1972 YDS7 Yamaha. Also have a 1990 GPZ900R, a 1989 GPZ600R, a 1975 Honda CL360K1 and a 1981 Yamaha RS125DX
I was riding a 1986 Honda Vt700c Shadow unfortunately came to a halt when the police discovered my license didnt allow the bike due to size, then I moved onto the newest of the lot which is a honda 650 revere just to have the throttle tube snap (due to age) and the gear selector developed quite a bit of movement due to mistreatment from P.O, I have a cbr 91 250 mc22 fireblade under going a full custom job, I have a 1989 Kawasaki H1 which is almost finished just the painting needs to be done and I have a 1987 Fzr400 1wg which is about to under go a rejett and carby tune then a full strip down and refresh. So I have a few bikes but at the moment for the next week or so I am without the use of any of them.
