Did you use a spacer or do you have NX5 forks or something?

I bought the spacer kit , are you wanting to do the upgrade ? The best change that I did was changing the master cylinder for a brembo one , same part used on the R1 and R6 and mine was cheap secondhand unit . It gave a "softer" feel unlike some bikes that feel hard when pulling the lever .

Yeah I have thought about upgrading. I haven't had the bike too long and I haven't been totally impressed with the front brakes. Just before I flew out for work I stripped them and they were in poor condition. I've got new seals, master cylinder kit and braided lines in it now but I haven't used them in anger yet. I've heard another good upgrade is a CBR1000 radial master cylinder as well which has the added advantage of using the same brake light switch (I use my bike on the road). I'll wait and see how the brakes are after I get it back on the road and see which way I go.
