    The grinding noise could just be a slightly tight chain or filthy sprocket cover. And yes I usually run 150 rear tyres, Dunlop gpr200 these are which I think are called gpr300 now. But beware if you go up to a 15t front sprocket with a new chain & new rear sprocket you will get clearance issues in the swingarm, which I solved by grinding part of the swingarm away 20160821_162715.jpg 150 (left) next to a 140 im using now

    Chain isn't very tight
    and cleaned the cover the other day :(
    I'm worried it's something serious !:(

    Ok lets get this into some perspective .....

    Unless your inline to be the next MotoGP race engineer lets stick to the basics of this bike

    Lets run standard tyres with a standard front and rear sprocket and chain .... and lets leave the swingarm as it was when it come off the assembly line and adjust the chain to the correct specs + a bit of lube

    @Khaiden Cori ..... take off the front sprocket cover and take a photo of it and the rear sprocket so we can see wat condition they are in ..... and have a close look at the sprockets and they will have a number stamped on them which is the number of teeth they have.

    If you dont know the specs of your bike I would suggest going to the resources here and reading up on them

    Do what Grey suggested. Grinding noise might be the shaft bearing saying goodbye ... this is very serious!

    You won't be able to see the bearing as it is hidden behind the oil seal. The shaft (that the front sprocket is attached to) should be tight. If you grab it and it moves (other than spinning) you will need to remove the oil seal (carefully) to see what's happening in there.

    Chain slider ok on the front of the swingarm, not worn through?
    Have you recently adjusted/tightened you chain ?

    Here ya go guys just did a video there is some movement in my front sprocket :/


    Now my bike is my only form of transport and I have work tonight so I'm hoping we can fix this issue hahah

    Also heard that there are little rubber seals in between the links on the chain
    Apparently after a while they wear out?

    That sprocket movement is normal, you want to check the sprocket shaft by undoing those 2 bolts and sliding the sprocket and chain off and giving the shaft a wobble, sprockets look ok to me, if the chain has o rings missing thats looking like the suspect though

    The front sprocket retainer plate might be worn a bit, that will account for a bit of the play there
    The teeth on the retainer plate should sit behind the teeth of the output shaft to provide a positive lock so the sprocket can come off.
    It look's like the hole's aren't lined up 100% with the sprocket and retainer, one may be aftermarket ?
    and the teeth on the retainer don't sit central behind the teeth on the ouput shaft
    Best off getting a matching pair if you can, and grab a couple of new high tensile bolt's to hold it all together while you're at it too

    I can't see that making any noises though, possibly the chain
    Have you ever replaced the chain on it ?

    Ahhh ok I'll have to wait till my mate gets back from holiday to help me with that :)
    Umm not too sure
    The guy I brought it off was really dodgy and didn't tell me lot haha:/

    Is it OK to ride
    Since I cleaned the chain it seems a lot better then it was

    Not recommended. ...WD40 is a great product but not for chains.
    A can of degreaser from Supercheap =$2.00 and $20.00+ for a can of chain lube.
    Clean chain and lube correctly may cure you problem.

    Even a thin dribble of motor oil on the chain will be better than nothing.
