like the title says... Granted it doesn't have to be GoPro's filming.. During editing it skipped a fraction during the corner.. The rattling is due to not having the little rubber U's the go into the clip.. So the clip was rattling and making the housing rattle..
Put the videos on HD... Again same problem as the other video... The white rubber U were not in place so you can hear the mount rattle
OK guys.. What angles do you want to see? trying to figure out the best placement for the go pros on Hildegarde
Interesting. I'm have a 90 degree turn and a couple extensions. So I'm thinking off the side of the bike low to the ground watching the front tyre? Or I may clip it on something. Or facing backwards over the exhaust. Or facing backwards watching the gear lever. This is all for my hill climbs mind you.
there is some mini bike footage.. not of me but of some lads i once knew...https://www.youtube.com/user/xXbutchershookXx/videos
I'm using a chest harness in upside-down mode. Still working on the best angle and deciding whether to mount on the windscreen or tank with a suction cup or if I should go for a helmet mount. Not wanting to go with a permanent mount on any of the bikes as I switch between them fairly regularly and may be selling a couple of them soon! Not very impressed with GoPro Studio on an AMD-based Windows machine as it struggles despite being fairly high-end and seems to chop the end off videos while converting. Still working out how best to edit what I have shot so far on my daily rides - will try to add something by the end of the week
weird its cutting the end off... but remember the GoPro it self only record in 15 or 20 min lots.. i cant remember the exact amount.. its go to do with memory and what not... You can drop the quality of the editing video so it doesnt stutter... doing thise does not effect the quality of the finished video.. i had to do it because i record everything in the 1080 HD,,,, Titles and music are a thing im still working on.. so all i do is match the length of the song with the video im making... Also if you add music.. when you add it to youtube make sure you give ALL credit for the music to the artist other wise copyright laws are infringed and the video will be removed..
Also just another note... with a heat gun you can remove the sticky mounts... suction cup mounts have been know to fall off... and the little white U shaped thing is to help with vibration.... attaching the mounts to the bike means the camera feels all the vibrations and bumps in the road... when they are attached to you.. you body absorbs most of the small vibrations and bumps... so im now trying to get some more stick mounts so i can mount them to my helmet so videos are not so shacky..
I think it was partly my record settings. I changed the settings and put together yesterday morning's ride with no noticeable loss of footage so far. Will double -check the final video when I get home.
