    Hi friends.

According to the workshop manual, the coils must have the following resistances:

    Primary: 2.3 - 3.22 ohms
    Secondary: 12 - 18K omhs

I measured the resistances of my coils with new NGK leads, and I have the following resistors.

    Primary: 3.3 ohms.
    Secondary: 24.85K ohms.

In both measures they are above the nominal value.

With these measurements my coils are ok? Or are they defective and need to be replaced?

    Thank

I measured the cables without the caps and increased the resistance

I would not get too concerned about the primary measurement. It is pretty close and probably within the accuracy of your meter.
With the secondary, try measuring without the leads.
Are your leads just solid copper cables? What about the caps? Are they resistive caps? If so these typically are 5k ohm each cap. So 28k across the entire lot is not unreasonable.

Stock FZR caps are 10K ohm
