My little track bike weighs in at a hefty 152kgs on the scales at Broadford with about 1/2 tank of fuel onboard. Quite disappointing actually. My little RC162 tribute bike (based on similar mechanicals) only weighs 117kg on my scales at home with oil and water but no fuel.
Removed all the bits that are road specific. Headlights, taillights, blinkers, sidestand, rear mudguard + number plate mount, bits of wiring loom that were not needed, speedo drive + cable, rear foot pegs. Added back a fabricated aluminium belly pan.
well, I plan on racing my MC22 when I get it back together. I'll weigh it with just 4-ltr of petrol since that's what I usually use for track sessions.
