I was using the waterproof backplate, because I'm too dumb to figure out how to change the backplates. I need a pin or something.

Will be looking at getting an external mount, or fitting the go pro inside the helmet if possible

Had to go over the anzac and back today. I tried a new mounting position (underside of the windshield) with the skeleton back door. The camera is in upside down mode.

Is it legal to lane split in N.S.W? cause if not... I personally wouldn't post anything about it.... Just my opinion is all..

Regardless of if it's legal or not (it is in NSW, under certain conditions), L & P platers aren't supposed to do it, which is very short sighted. Going from L to P to unrestricted doesn't magically make you able to filter like a boss. It has to be practiced because you can very easily smash mirrors.

I would rather be pulled over and fined and waste time in court, than be rear ended and squished between 2 cars because a driver was texting...

All I'm saying is to edit that part out because it can (not saying it will) bring some heat on you..

Moving on from the filtering thing... the audio is definitely better in that spot. Video is OK, could be better if the screen was clear and not all scratched up, but oh well...

Also a shame that youtube doesn't fully support 60fps yet. Anything I upload will be 60fps, but you need html5 for it to work... otherwise you get 30fps, and I may as well record in 1080p

Made and fitted new gasket to my YDS-5, no more oil leaks (should have done that in the first place).
Fitted plug and jumper leads to my 650.

No its a hero 3 white. Which can do 720p 60fps. The black edition can do all sorts of crazy resolutions (4k at 15fps, 2.7k at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps, 720p at 120fps and so on)

Fitted the missing air filter and screws to Nix' airbox and put on the luggage hooks. Found out she's missing a hex drive frame bolt on the right side, will have to pick one up on Monday. :(

Took advantage of the beautiful weather and rode over to visit my gorgeous new niece Annabelle (born on friday).
The ride over was a great head clearer and as a bonus I got to test my new Rjays seat bag- it's an absolute winner.
