    Well my plan is to keep it street registerable. But I will be taking off what I can, if it was up to me I would ditch the rear brake all together.
    But here's what I know is coming off/is off: Rear seat, rear sets, rear pegs, battery, black windshield & rear sprocket.

    I suspect (maybe) some wierd odds and ends as far as nuts and bolts, man bag/compartment ****, rear mud guard perhaps.

    In a nut shell, if u can give me a lighter alternative and it still be register-able i will sell and post parts cheap as home brand kitty litter.

    Hell if u can sell it for more I am happy to post it to the buyer no questions asked if u don't want to double post.

    If my "hp boost" goes according to plan the air box internals + jets will also be in that list.

    Funnily enough I will mention that everything I have taken off so far is as close to good nick as a 20 year old bike gets

    Robbo has put a set of LED indicators onto his LN1 Fizzer and could not get then to work properly. He changed the flasher unit for the correct LED type, but then all four indicators came on together. He bought a 'you beaut' multimeter but it still had him stuck.
    In desperation he brought it back to me to see if I could do any better (read 'fix it). Today I spent about four hours going over all he had done, all good, and checking every joint, connector and earth, checking with the manual, opening and inspecting the switch, and all good. I noticed that the dashboard indicator light wasn't lighting, so pulled it out and it checked ok. Power to the light was good too. I then tried the switch without the bulb in and they all work correctly. Ahhh, light bulb moment.
    These bikes (and many others too) have only a single indicator bulb for flashing in both direction. To light the bulb they run a wire from both sides indicators to each side of the bulb, and the resistance through the bulb is enough to light it. With the LEDs using so little watts the bulb was acting as a cross over wire and powering the opposite side to the one the switch had put power too, therefore making them all light. On bike down to Jaycar for a LED bulb and home to fit, all good. Lesson learnt about LEDs.

    That's why I put normal bulbs on the rear of the Fizzer.... had the same problem... I don't like a lot of the LED blinkers... many are not bright enough, and I prefer the normal bulbs... need to get rid of the front ones too.... can't see them properly.....

    So found out today. One of my carbie pilot screws is leaking -.- Might be time soon to get all the litetek seal kits and replace all the seals. Also appears to be leaking from the head which has me a little worried.

    Fuel dripping onto a hot engine is obviously not a good thing .... o ring may be missing or totally shot ..... put something under it to catch the fuel and screw it out and have a look.

    Clean up where the head leak is so u can see exactly where its coming from.

    This morning ventured out to the garage to peruse my new boarder.....

    She doesn't look to feral and the body work is reasonable.......she does have some issue that need attention.

    So started checking the bike over and doing some cleaning.....best part of the day was sorting the carbs out. Some serious blockages have been conquered and thanks to threebond am looking pretty good. Only missing some s/s washers on the air/fuel mixture which I'll grab tomorrow and should be able to fit the carbs back on the bike. Wish me luck....I need it :p

    She has been sitting in Chris's garage for awhile, provided I can getting her running correctly ....think she'll be ok.
    One thing that is wrong....very wrong is the seized front brake.....took me 5 minutes just to move her around the garage.
    Time will tell......not bad for an old girl!!

    Brief update
    Hooked up the jump pack, turned the key.......NADA....nothing, no power???? Checked fuses, all good.
    Chris told me there was a potential problem with the starter motor solenoid
    Here is the faulty one

    I pulled the fairings off my bike last night, I'm planning to take off/drain the tank, change the spark plugs and reattach the radiator on the weekend and see if she will fire up. Not sure if I should try and drain the carbies before I try to start her.
