Rechecked everything Ive done over the past few days, full service minus carb and cam chain tensioner, then today put new Battery in, (long overdue). wheeled out to the grass for a degrease, and wheeled back in, put fairings on, wheeled back out, gave her a wash, and cam out like this: (Yes I know the grass needs mowing. That gets done this weekend.

Nothing feels like how you feeling like wiping the chamois over the machine you built from the ground up!

    Go historic racing they said,
It will be fun they said.

Whoever buys these bikes as their first roadbike must seriously miss out on the important things... like riding haha.

    But its holding water,
    New hoses from ebay Japan,
    tested thermostat,
    lapped surfaces,
flushed radiator and cooling system, vinegar is awesome.
    new red bypass hose.
new rubber baffle plate from 3mm insertion rubber,
carbs back off while we find new bodies then do more tuning,
made 260mm muffler with big bore , a combination of an old Laser and a Xcite front cap.
    made CV breather filter,
tidied wiring, cut stuff off, heatshinked,
    found R3 battery fits.
Gerni , oven cleaner, every toxic chemicasl I could find and got engine and valley spotless.
    Pressure lubed every cable,
    too much stuff....

    Lockwiring the sump and filter,
found Auto1 has RYCO RMC100 filters with orings for $9.95 (VTR250)

Next step get rid of the speedo, drive, cable, and all the munted **** where its thrown a chain and obliterated stuff.

Have I told anyone how ghey MC22's are?

Serviced and registered my SR250 (she's been resting) and rode to work, took a bit of a sting outta the first day back after holidays!

Good to be back on 2 wheels - been playing with cages too much lately!

That is the only thing keeping me going. :)
I'll admit it sounds pretty special the way sammc22 tuned it and my zorst.

From what Ive read on forums I expect to get better bitchez, smash my Pb's by 10 seconds and wheelies in neutral.

To top it off the campaingning by WA 2bloke riders on VJ22's have changed the rules,
from 5 years of ranting 'Its a safety issue' (Cough cough, they already have the fastest bike by a mile, and 18's went fine back in the day)
they can run 17's on VJ21's and aftermarket shocks, so they think they can run the banana swingarm, USD's and the whole vj22.

Bit of a game changer for us 4 strokes who built bikes within the rules.
They are about as popular as a fart in church here and in the east in 250 Historic circles.

Re-rego'd the Fizzer today - that's 12 months since it was first rego'd - how time flies... passed the pink slip fine after @Linkin put the old master cylinder back on with the correct brake light switch..... @GreyImport - can do the pink slip at South Tamworth if that helps....

Drained the milkshake out of the R6 and flushed the radiator.

Think the problem may be the water pump or possibly oil cooler.
