Yeah, I meant leaving the rear seat on the bike.

Guys here is my attempt at fibre glassing a cowl, I used the original seat as a mould by covering it in glad wrap. I'm Hoping it will do the job until I buy a proper one from Japan :dance2:

Some 'bog' (filler) to smooth it off, a coat of paint to match bike and your sweet.

lght coat of filler and vibrating sander will do the rough smoothing or quicker is a coat of satin rough sand and spray putty. dry for week and wet sand. when dry quick spray.

You need to remove the strap in get single seat compliance , thye might make you drill out the bolt holes for your rear foot pegs... I hav eheard they are quite fussy about what has to be done to achieve single seat compliance.

So as it stood from the above pic, that cowl was enough for it to get through :) my bike is now a single seater. Good as gold.

Here is the final product.... possibly haha. I bogged over the fibreglass then sanded for ages and got sick of that lol, decided to paint it export yellow it didn't match at all but looked ok... so I got hold of some carbon fibre vinyl and applied that over the top I think it does the job and looks alright :thumb_ups:
