    Maybe you should ask questions in here before buying stuff elsewhere Mike.
    I have a spare barrel and piston I would have sold you or even better, a .5mm oversized piston and rings that are for sale as well. And they don’t need heating and prising either.
    But too bad you probably spent too much on your US gear.

    No, I got the parts I needed very reasonably priced, unfortunately an over sized piston would not have helped as the piston was so badly seized it split the bottom of the cylinder. I purchased a complete engine gasket set also very reasonably priced, & also a brand new set of oil pump gears from Singapore.
    So I have a rebuild job this weekend.
