For anyone interested, here is a page from the 1986-1987 TZR250-FZR400 race kit manual which also shows the Sport Production race kit parts for FZR250 2KR-based models: The retail price of ¥105,000 covered the basic kit (exhaust system, three rear sprockets, carb main jets, wiring harness), while optional parts included a tank cover & seat unit (¥52,000), a front number plate (¥4,000) and a rear-set foot rest assembly (¥43,000). The exhaust system by itself was ¥94,000, while the wiring harness was ¥3,250. Also shown on the same page is the Formula 1 engine kit set for the FZR750 at ¥560,000...!
