Hello all. I have for sale a 2007 VTR250. It is a write off, but doesn’t seem bent to me just neglected. No keys but everything is unlocked. I’ve got it running and I was intending to repair and re-register but I’m not eligible. Bad decision I know. Motor has 18,000 kms. Staintune muffler. I’ve got some parts coming in the mail so you can have them too. I’ve lost heart in it. I will post photos soon. Chain and sprockets are shot. Peacock is broken. Couple of cracks in the tailpiece. If I were you I would check around at the wreckers... surely there will be a frame somewhere with a clean PPSR report.
I might have a look, but VTRs are so thin on the ground round here. It would be nice to do that because it sounds so good!! But the offer still stands for now.
For '80s bikes, they fit image. They had more power and were faster than Ninja 250 at time. Wish Honda had continued them in U.S. There's guy on VFRdiscussion with 3 or more of them. Might be willing to sell one if you offer.
I've got 0 room for more bikes at the moment. well, I do, but it's already a PITA moving bikes around to work on other bikes.
I think I've found a frame. So this is not for sale anymore. Thanks for the motivation people. I've just got to redo what I've already done! ... lesson learned. They are such a nice sounding bike.
